As the visionary behind Nihar Foundation, Hon. Chairman Hrdpsinh Gohil, affectionately known as Gohilsirji, is the foundation’s primary driving force. His relentless passion for humanitarian service and deep empathy for underprivileged communities inspired the creation of the organization in 2008. While Gohilsirji started his social mission informally, working alone to address local issues in Gujarat, his work gradually expanded to a nationwide and global movement.Under his leadership, Nihar Foundation became a registered Section 8 non-profit in 2025, gaining widespread recognition for its contributions to education, healthcare, empowerment, and disaster relief. As a donor, philanthropist, and advisor, Gohilsirji has also served many other NGOs, supporting them with both financial resources and strategic guidance. His vision and leadership continue to guide the organization’s expansion across India and into international territories.
